Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. The last thing I did was installing March Windows updates, then restarted Windows yesterday evening. Is my Adobe software now unusable? Ps and Ai still run. I’m not the biggest fan of Adobe anyway, for all the trouble it causes, and I’m slowly phasing out all their stuff.

Adobe – I ask that you please look into this issue as soon as possible and post a fix. I have almost 3 hours tied up into trying to resolve this issue as I can no longer open any. PDF file on my machine.

Sign out of Windows and then sign in with a different user account. Launch Acrobat and see. Send the crash report to Adobe. How to send the crash report for Acrobat. After the crash, the Crash Report dialog is displayed. Click Send Report.

That is the “Cover Sheet” for the PDF Portfolio which is displayed when the Portfolio is viewed in a tool that can’t interpret the Portfolio file structure. That is normal behavior. That said, you can replace the cover sheet for individual Portfolios or replace the default cover sheet that will be used by all new Portfolios that are created. Acrobat can open these files but a File Explorer cannot show anything but the above error in the preview window and more importantly b uploading these combined PDFs leads to a one page PDF with just the above image and no other content.

HELP I removed Adobe on my pc and didn’t ever create anything I have the same issue and Adobe is dismanteled and removed – I’m rebooted and still have this problem. I can say I will not ever purchase this problem from Araobe and here I got it for free. It’s a POX on the program when you can’t remove the app from your personal pc. Thank you. I think the issue happens when the file is shared. I forgot to ask in which version of Adobe Acrobat Pro is this happening? The shared recipients will receive an email with a link. When they click on that link the splash screen will appear to take them to the shared file online.

The recent update changed alot of things. First of all, the new design I don’t like. That I can get used to but it’s made it more difficult to use in my opinion. Some of the buttons are not labeled now, they only have icons so I have to guess what they do until I press them and find out if I’m right or wrong. For example, sharing a file through email no longer takes the file name and automatically makes it the subject line of the email.

Also, when you sort by name,files with letters now follow files with numbers. I have to scroll through a hundred files which have dates to get to my template which starts with letters. So I had to through a random zero at the beginning so it’s at the top. There is more I could write but I think you get my point.

I realize it may sound like nitpicking but when you use the app as much as I do it becomes very annoying. I am disappointed you made such a big change and it doesn’t seem to be for the better. Let’s get some of this fixed so I can change this back to 5 stars.
