Imagine, if you will, that the new guest has change in his diet while travelling You need the deposit to pay for carpets to be cleaned, extra labor for scrubbing and clean up, and for replacement if that “mistake” should happen on the bed the owners swore the dog never gets on! Everyone thinks their dog is the lovliest, best behaved dog in the world – it’s a domesticated animal, no more than that. Trying to guarantee its behaviour is pointless. Having read this thread, I wanted to take ‘Pets Allowed’ off my listing but It appears on my ad in ‘amenities’ but isn’t there in the settings and selections ever since Airbnb changed things. I have looked everywhere. We have an apartment over our detached garage and guests come and go through our gate and through the back yard to the apartment entrance. One of them barks, but won’t bite, but it is still intimidating for her to come barking at you. So far, we have been vigilant about making sure that the dogs are in the house when guests come and go, however, it is really difficult to predict when the guests will be going through the yard and last night, one of our dogs was out and she nipped at a guest.
