Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor. Even though I have not done so myself Yet , I believe that an Annual Pass is probably worth the extra price, especially if one is within a few hours driving distance of Asheville. I would imagine the seasonal blooms would make each trip different. Be prepared for crowds though, especially in this era of social distancing.
Dont think there is ever an off season there! Biltmore estate is outrageously priced. Lodging is sky high. If you’re going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds.
We’ve been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They sell tickets to the state house saying its by appointment only. We tried to change our time and they said we couldnt , when we got there we noticed that was not by appointment There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate.
Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. Long distances from Handicap parking lots with uphill grades hard on those pushing wheel chairs.
There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn’t enjoy the visit. Had it been a good day my coments may have been better. The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it. This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We visited during the pandemic, and unfortunately many attractions that were supposed to be included closed down early with no notice.
It was very disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there. It is a beautiful place. I think I would like to go back one day and get the whole experience. It is an amazing property. We did the Legacy of the Land tour and I did the Rooftop tour as well as the house tour. We also ate at the Stable Restaurant for lunch. A little pricey, but fun to do if you want the ambiance.
We had a great 2n stay here, on what was our first visit to Asheville. Primarily came to visit the Biltmore estate, and it was less than a mile from this hotel to the entrance!
Room was nicely appointed, quiet ,very comfortable beds and pillows. Good offerings for breakfast. Would highly recommend this to anyone for the proximity to the estate. Breakfast selection was good. The room was dirty, and there was food in the fridge from previous guests. The bathroom was infested with roaches. The keys didn’t unlock any of the exterior doors. Don’t stay here. There was no hot water for showers. Find another place to stay. The price was right.
The breakfast area was clean and sanitized. The hotel room was clean and spacious, and the employees were friendly. Great location. The hotel was perfect, but I wish the bathroom had been larger.
It was old and needed repairs, and there was hair in the shower. The hotel clerk was efficient, but he wasn’t friendly. The room was more than adequate, though the bathroom needed some sprucing up. Nice staff and good breakfast. Hotel room was nice and clean, but the heater was too loud.
Front desk clerks were helpful and friendly. Good breakfast, and the attendant was helpful. I’d stay again. The beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. This is a nice choice. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and convenient. Nice hotel stay. I liked the room, but it was cold and didn’t have any extra pillows.
The bathtub was too high and hard to get into for older people. The manager was excellent. Good coffee bar and TV room. We’d stay here again.
The staff was courteous. I had a great time. The motel was conveniently located. No hot breakfast because of Covid; just coffee, muffin, breakfast bar and bottled water. The motel was clean, though there was some mold on the shower ceiling. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. My friend stayed in the car while I stayed in the room. I informed the staff, but wasn’t happy that they provided him a room key without getting his ID or checking with me. They even put balloons in the room for my husband’s 40th birthday.
It was affordable and clean, and there were convenient parking spaces right outside the door. The night clerk was kind enough to bring a cup of milk to our room. Breakfast was good and hot. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was good.
Clean hotel with comfortable beds. The rates were a bit high, but it was worth it. Good breakfast bar. The room was clean, and the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Just a mile from restaurants and less than 4 miles from Biltmore Estate. The people in the room above ours stomped around all night, so we had to keep the TV on all night to block out the sound. The pool was empty, and there was no whirlpool available. The hot breakfast buffet was only available on weekends. The room was a little stuffy, and nothing happened when we pushed the fan button on the AC.
It was old, and the room was smaller and not as nice as other Springhill Suites I’ve stayed in. The bedding felt old, and the amenities were poor.
Not a good value. I wouldn’t stay again. The employees were friendly. You’ll enjoy your stay. The room wasn’t large, but it was laid out well. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooftop pool would be great in summer, and the lobby bar was a lot of fun.
The pool table was a nice touch. This was the most pet-friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in; there were dogs everywhere.
