Oct 6, As we pass the midway point of the Texas high school football regular season, the top-ranked teams from the DFW area continue to top dallas high school football teams why they are highly ranked. Once again, all ranked teams from the DFW area won their Week 6 district matchup except for one, who lost to another ranked team. In 5A Div. II, Colleyville Heritage was ranked No. Prosper Rock Hill held a lead at the end of the first quarter, but Allen turned it on the rest of the way to remain undefeated in District A with a decisive home win.

Next, Allen will host McKinneyin a clash with serious playoff-seeding implications for District A. Highland Park led entering the final quarter, but four unanswered touchdowns from Jesuit changed a blowout into a one-score game, forcing Highland Park to eke out a home victory.

Highland ParkDistrict A led at halftime as running back Jay Cox had two short first-half touchdowns run, while quarterback Brennan Storer connected with Luke Herring for a yard score in the first and ran in a touchdown at the end of the second.
